Mrs. Pierson is survived by her husband, Jim Pierson, of the family home in Olathe; son Bob Pierson and wife Debby of Fruita; daughter Sandy Wiseman and husband Allen; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Other family survivors include her brother, H.S. 'Sy' Willis of Delta. Mrs. Pierson was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.5

Note*Sep 1940  Bombed out of London during the Blitz which destroyed the family home at 45 Webb St Plaistow. They fled to Buckinghamshire on back of lorry borrowed by Will Dorsett. There they stayed with cousin Mabel in Hazlemere for a few days, then at Baptist Church Hall High Wycombe before ending up at Frieth Village Hall, where were fed & clothed by kindness of Frieth villagers and the local WVS. Offered farm cottage by at Parmoor, Greenwood, 2 miles away. Frank continued working in London until December 1940. He became the local 'Pru' agent until his retirement. Hilda lived in Stokenchurch, after Frank's death in 1964, until 1976. She then lived with her daughters, mainly Grace, until 1999 when she moved to Meadowside Residential Home in Marlow, following an accident. in Sep 1940.
