Note*  His Great grandaughter Surayya writes: Ernest Arthur Potter was a builder. He fought in the Second World War and was paralysed by shrapnel from what I believe was a bomb. He passed away in the early 1950s. I have found a death certificate online which I believe to be his but will order it to check before confirming the exact date. He was a colourful character, my mother spoke of him with great love and affection. He used to play the banjo and ukulele and was asked to travel to America as an understudy for Charlie Chaplin but did not go.2
