Note*  Grace born 1904 - Grace was a skilled artificial flowermaker. She married James Ingram, serving in the army, several years in India. During World War II , he was injured at Dunkirk, and conveyed to hospital in Yorkshire. At the time Grace, whose home had been bombed, went to Yorkshire to be with him. She worked in the R.A.F. canteen, and also the woollen mills making uniforms for the forces. She has since worked as a cook at the Wanstead and East Ham hospital and is still employed (1968) as a cook at the Dr. Johnson Hotel in Ilford. Her husband is now retired, but supplements his pension as a patrol crossing man. They have two sons.3
