He then served in India from 16 Aug 1902 - 25 Jan 1904. he was then on the reserve until 18 Sept 1908. He listed his next of kin as his elder brother William, c/o Mr Clark "Foxhounds" Lynstone Lovell Bucks.

Graham W Bandy advises that his grandfather was fatally injured / contracted pneumonia after being hit by a "bike" on the Wellingborough Rd Northampton, outside St Edmunds Hospital. He had been in the hospital for sometime, and used to take his washing to Les. The interesting facts are that it used to be the "Old Bun" ie the Workhouse, and that I worked there on the stroke unit in the late 1980s as a Nurse.)7,12
