Note*1914  I saw a photo of my Great Grandfather in Gunnersbury museum, his name is William Lesley Bandy and worked for the Rothechild family. All I know of him is that he is buried in south Ealing cemetery. The photo in Gunnersbury museum was taken in 1914 when William snr worked for the Rothschilds as a meat cutter, William jnr worked there to in the stables. When I asked the museum curator about the photo she said that in 1985 a lady called Mrs S Drake gave the museum the photo and told them that the Rothschilds had moved all their staff from their house in Wing Bucks to Gunnersbury House and thats how William snr came to live in London. She also said that she was his daughter so that would make her my Great-aunt and she left a forwarding address which I can let you have if you want it.
